There she is hanging out in the nestbox and I know Henny Penny has gifted her an egg.

They really are butterballs too!
They feel soft and fluffy (hard to describe unless you’ve held them before) :love
Even the roosters are sort of butterballs. My roo Rudy is the same way.

I really do feel like a proud papa!
Thanks!
Congrats Aero, tell mr man that you deserve some shrimp tacos!
The first egg is the hardest thing to lay. It’s virgin birth. Like Mary, the mother of Jesus.

Hubby and I strung up the ropes to prevent the wire from sagging in too much. He also cuddled Shep, held Nyx ('she's so small! Will she get bigger?'). And finally he got Bab Ross, who yelled at him and pecked him.

Kiddo insisted on getting the dog a Halloween clown collar.

Gotta be close to or just over 3 months. Could be an early bloomer girl, just growing faster than the others. Dad was the one who convinced me Kasumi was a boy early on too, haha. View attachment 3953065
Google says this one is a boy, definitely looks way different than Butterbird.
Teehee! If this is a guessing contest my vote is roo cuz I think Buff Roos are gorgeous & stately like @Desertvalleychickens big Buff roo!
