They act like I don’t feed them enough.

that isn't true; if it was I would have been dead. I have gotten bit probably 50+ times in the past couple of years (I was going out of my way to catch them, they were just defending themselves and calmed down once they realized I wasn't going to hurt them). There is very little chance it will even get infected as they have an anticoagulant in their saliva which results in very little bacteria actually getting left behind. they actually have relatively clean mouths to begin with as well.If you get but by a snake, always go see a physician. You need an antibiotic. They carry the nastiest bacteria in the planet in their mouths.
Yup but you’re young - not old(er) like most of us herethat isn't true; if it was I would have been dead. Yes being young it’s likely just her system adjusting.I am really hoping that since she is so young her shells will be probably shelled like they have been.
Sure hope you’re feeling much better soon.Hello peeps. My flu has really kicked me out of action this week.
Last night was my first night of full sleep and I feel better today.
The young girls are all starting to lay eggs. The Rockettes are in different stages of molt. The roosters are getting bigger every day. I’m glad to hear that Bob’s little rooster is taking a road trip, and I wish him well. Marie’s Princess is looking fine today. All the birds I’ve seen are looking good today.
The egg shell was retained inside her, with part of it expelled - an eggcellent conduit for infection. Even an hour like that can incubate bacteria giving an infection.I must be missing something? Why would you give her antibiotics? I may have missed it, but I thought she managed to get the egg out. The worry with giving antibiotics if they are not needed is they may be less effective when you do need them.
Sorry if I have misunderstood the situation.
Drive safe!
