Oh, I've watched plenty of Animal Planet's & conservation programs. Sir David Attenborough & I are old program buddies! I've also played Silkie youtube videos for our girls to watch! Since breaking my arm I've got wayyyy too much time on my hands to waste!
BIL has way too much time on his hands, he was watching all sorts of chicken videos when they stayed here this summer.

He was telling me I should watch this that and the other thing haha!

Mallorca files is set on the island of Mallorca (off the coast of Spain), it’s about a British detective who gets transplanted there who solves crimes.

Another you may enjoy is My Life is Murder (New Zealand/Australia TV), another detective show about a retired detective who freelances for the police.

Have you seen Death in Paradise? Also a BBC show set in the Caribbean. And Sister Boniface (spin off from Father Brown), oh and Miss Scarlet and the Duke (BBC).

And Murdock Mysteries (Canadian, 20 seasons I think, I have missed the last couple seasons) - it’s set in around 1903-ish Toronto - it’s really interesting to see how policing was back then - they do a good job of trying to be factual. And it’s fun to spot the old museums here in my home town they use for the stories sometimes 😊 and no shortage of old barns and homes from turn of the century 1900s around here to shoot scenes. I love when they do scenes in the old hospitals - some I have worked in and know the creaky old back staircases 😉

Over the past few years I have been watching these on and off.

Today I spent a lot of a time watching shows (watched a couple episodes of Mallorca files and a couple re-runs of Death in Paradise), my shoulder and neck are just aching. I am beginning to think it’s just my neck arthritis which has been acting up past week or so, maybe a pinched nerve in my neck causing my shoulder pain.

@Sylvester017 you are correct - don’t get old! Hahaha! And stay off crazy horses.

I still haven’t made it to the barn, but I just checked Hen House B and looks like only 4 chooks on that big ledge space! Boy are they going to be mad when I start moving youngsters in and taking over their space 🤭

Lucky you to see them!
Yup! Got more pictures and made them do a flip above us since we waved to them!

Heal soon. Please try to rub in and wrap in caster oil, it's said to help fasten up the healing process. It supposed to work better if you add the oil to a pad, leave for 20 minutes then wrap around the break

Thx for the movies recommendations. I'm finishing up Clive Owen in a recent Sam Spade series set in France.

That is so nice to have the night camera to keep an eye on your animals. Our coop is under a patio roof just steps away from the kitchen door so we never invested in a camera.

My DD/SIL have 4 cameras on their property cuz they're against a dense nature preserve on their back fence & up against mountain foothills so they get bears, deer, coyotes, lynx, bobcats, raccoons, possums, rabbits, skunks, rattlesnakes & once a puma (mountain lion). I have no pics of the wild animals but these pics show the wild brush at their back fence. Not my cup of tea to live so close to wild brush or that many wild preserve animals. People in this neighborhood can't leave their dogs or cats outside at night ~ they disappear or get killed in the yards. People often find a bear in their swimming pools, & chicken keeping is totally out of the question.

I currently have a bone stimulator machine prescribed by the orthopedist. The middle machine looks like the one I have. It straps around the upper arm & timed for 30 mins/day at home. Lets pray this speeds proper healing. I've had less pain every day but only X-rays in November will see if its helping.

TY for the castor oil recommendation. Our herbalist may have it in his store. We get our quality probiotics, oils & herbs from him for 20 yrs.
