I've never had one of those. But I can say that the trackball mouse absolutely works, and a good keyboard also makes a difference as well.
I can't stand the track ball mice. Maybe because I have short thumbs and small hands. dunno if they're avaliable for children's hands, but that's more likely what I would need.

I used a wireless keyboard w/my much-too-large all-in-one computer but I reverted back to a smaller laptop w/backlit keyboard on it. I tilt/prop the laptop for comfort keyboard typing. Sometimes I wear a wrist brace too if I type a lot (type w/one hand only now since the other arm is still not in use).

Because of carpal tunnel & numbness I didn't want to concentrate stress only on the thumb w/ a trackball. W/ the Meetion or Evoluent I can eliminate thumb stress by alternate use of any of the other 4 fingers on the scroll wheel between the click buttons. Being able to use a program to change functions on all the buttons/clickers also offers options for maximum comfort.

Slanted mouse allows the radius & ulna bones in the forearm more comfort ~ I don't recommend this particular mouse cuz the pinky drags on the desk rather than resting on the platform of the mouse but I like the drawing below showing the forearm bones using ergonomic verses flat mouse.

Awesome about Flopsy. I'm so glad.
Thank you - I was prepared to have her culled if she was not going to be able to walk at least enough to escape bad Roos.

I will keep her in the crate another couple weeks to make sure she is healing well. She really is getting fed up with being contained though.
