I blow dry chickens all the time. You just can't use any heat on the blow drier. My chickens love the air blowing over and drying them.Mud is a real killer. But some birds just have so much fun in rain & mud they don't have the good sense to seek shelter before it's too late. The Silkies don't have the proper feathers to have rain roll off & they'll get cold rain soaked skin. Many times we've had to paper-towel dry rain-drenched Silkies. Can't blow dry them either ~ too much of a temperature shock.
