The vaccine is for ducks only. They are still experimenting the chicken one. And it's only for commercial operation and unfortunately, does not mean an easing of restrictions in affected zones.
The information is available in english here for anyone really interested. I'm not in an affected area so I'll admit I haven't paid much attention.

@BY Bob , have you heard about a recent case in backyard chickens reported in Pennsylvania? Not 100% the source I read is reliable.
Thanks I will check it out.

People traditionally lit candles inside their Jack-O-Lanterns to make the carved face glow & there would be the smell of burnt pumpkin in the air.
Your chicker-doodles are so cute. Looks like Clyde has a silver ruff on him. Do his wing tips sport any silver?
A little bit on the tips. He is a brat with the chooks but he is still nice to me hahaha.

This morning he was in trouble for assaulting poor Mrs LC! He is a brat.

I have to put on YouTube videos to listen to raindrops. It helps with sleep (sometimes)
Background sounds are great like rainforest sounds, ocean waves (our freeway here actually sounds like steady ocean waves at night), TV, music, radio, etc.

As a teen I got used to having either TV or radio on thru the night. My mom's room was next to mine ~ she had her radio on at night & to keep from hearing hers i turned mine on. Been doing this for 70 years & can't sleep w/o it now.

@TOMTE ~ a little time & patience our chickens become amazing pets:

Someone in our neighborhood was shooting off noisy stadium skyworks & firecrackers but our girls sleep well thru anything all snug in their coop.

I guess fireworks isn't just for Independence Day anymore!
We get people blowing up pumpkins 🎃 after Halloween. They make a mess

We had the same number of Trick or Treaters that we had last year. And a decade ago.

Zero.

We've been here for 30 years, and nobody has braved the long walk back to our house... end of a dead end road.

It was VERY windy last night; the tree limbs whipping around, leaves flying everywhere. SPOOOOOOOKY!
I had two, kids that live in our culdesac. Many people went to events instead and with the weather I wasn't surprised. So windy and so much rain! Still going today, roses are lashing the window next to me.

Of course even on a good year I think the most we have had here is 4 or five groups.

Morning all! I'm 34 today, and very happy that we all made it this far. Interestingly enough, I was actually not breathing when I was born and had to spend time in an incubator. But I pulled through and here we are!

Kiddo found some of her toy chickens (and a duck!) To talk to while she eats breakfast. I think this is about half of her total little chicken toys? They're her favorite.
Happy birthday!🎂🎉🎁🎈

There is not only a recent case here in Oregon, but the first case in a pig. Very bad news. Lucky for me it isn't close to me.
