Just do not wear a vikings helmetPeople are safe. I only use the guns while hunting. The deer rifle is handed down from my grandfather. The shot gun is for snakes, squirrels and the coyotee's.
Properly processed, the hair isn't an issueMy question is what do you use to haul away a carcass from his dropping point?? 2 ladies carry it or drag it or ?? Is it skinned on site?? So many questions?? Years ago a neighbor went deer hunting & the party did their own skinning. We were given some meat but it was inedible ! There was so much coarse bristle hairs embedded in the meat it was worse than coarse German Shepherd dog hair !
I’m so very sorry. It’s seems the toughest possible situation to be in, and now it’s taken your sweetie hen.Shep picture dump. She was such a perfect chicken.

Obviously hair/fur/feathers in meat shouldn't be an issue but that realization becomes reality w/ a bite of meat that contains foreign objects in itProperly processed, the hair isn't an issue
When we rehomed birds in the past we got updates & pics. When they stopped sending we assumed the bird passed as no more updates were sent. But we knew the birds were in good hands living out their natural chicken lifeThanks so much for getting this too me. I honestly appreciate everything about my cute girl![]()
