The town we do all our grocery shopping is getting a Family Farm and Home! It's across the road from the Tractor Supply co! I'm so excited (and spoiled for choice!!!)

Maybe they will also get chicks in.

Never heard of Family Farm and Home.

You guys are fortunate with the variety of different poultry feeds down there, not to mention poultry breeders

I will need to get my mum to make a hen apron for Sue, she is not only moulting but being harassed by the Roos.

She will not be allowed in with Mr P again, she picks at him along with Betty. Gosh these hens are gonna drive me bonkers with poor Mr P!

This was taken recently. Dominica and Agathae, the two moulting birds, taking a dust bath.

Meanwhile, my gang continue to steer clear of Bernie’s roost which has been the favorite place for all chickens ever.
They are all down the other end.
Calypso does a security check just before bed by walking the big roost before flying over to join everyone else.
Strange birds.

I’m pretty sure that Aero has cussed me out this evening.
She was refusing to go into the coop, so I had to chase her in. She was saying some things to me that I’m glad I didn’t understand.
