Being smart is all about learning from your blunders.

Daisy Daisy give me your answer do…..

She is such a character, the past few evenings when I have come home from work, has been sitting in the footy window watching for me I guess.

She has a lot to say when I get home, likely all about how the other birdies are picking on her 😊

In the morning when I muck out stalls she gets right under my feet and in the way of the manure fork. A couple of times I have clobbered her with the manure rake - and yet she keeps coming back ♥️

Daisy you’re so sweet with your poopy feet, and laying those lovely blue eggs.
Omg, daisy is so cute. I'd be taking her to bed with me ❤️

Thanks on the blunders :hugs

It's FRIDAY! Wednesday's lack of thirsty pics was made up for with lots of fluffiness

For fluffy butt Friday I give you Mr P and his ‘weirdly placed’ tail feathers.

They were like this when he came out of the Hen House this morning. Not sure if he moulting them out or if they are damaged… the one curved long feather has dropped between the two stiffer feathers making the ‘V’

Bedtail!

Good evening everyone. I am badly behind so I wouldn't say no to the link for the synopsis. To be honest, I kind of forgot about BYC in general. My hens are doing well, as well as my rabbits and cats. I adopted a new stray cat.
🤗 nice to hear from you !

I was overjoyed a few days ago to finally find a very simple page in french with basic colour feathers. I've been trying desperately to follow you and learn the english names, and I was absolutely dreading having to start all over again in french. But it turns out many of the name are exact translations!

This led me to a question regarding Léa's and Piou-piou's colour. I always thought they were red hens, but based on that page it seems they could be called buff, or even wheaten, with a black tail. I thought buff couldn't have black tails ? What do you think?

And yes, Fluffy butts are back at last now that some of us are done moulting !

Here's Tony. I'm running out of storage so my apologies if I'm posting old photos (which I have no problem doing) and if I have already posted the same photo twice (which I have done before, that is just in case I haven't already showed it to you all).
