I miss this little lady but I'm so very happy knowing she's living a chickens dream life. Plenty of freedom warmth and good foods

Awww Princess!
:love
I can't deal with this guy and his videos, so I just skipped to the part with the cat and feel better about him because he obviously loves his cat!

Well kitty is adorable. Buddy is super negative! Wow what a Debbie Downer! I guess I am more ‘glass half full’ sort of person 😊

Meanwhile, I am super happy that Prince is living the good life 🥰

Any idea the age of all the cattle & horses? I would assume younger means more energetic/troublesome?
Beauty is five years old, not sure about Juice. Cattle are a mix of calves and cows that are around, something like 3-4 years old as an estimate. Breeds are Red and Black Angus mixed with some longhorns that are missing their horns (except one)

I brought my camera out with me to feed this morning. To my shock Poppet decided today was the day to venture outside of the coop with Turkey. Turkey is NOT a fan of the snow and they stay out for a few minutes before Turkey ran back to the coop leaving Poppet in Russ's stall calling away. She eventually gave up and went back into the coop with her.

I'm officially calling Turkey a girl. I got my hands on her out in the daylight. Turkey has a non-exsistant comb. I can now tell though it will be a straight comb. With a straight comb at 6 1/2 weeks if Turkey was a cockerel I should see some growth.

These are terrible pictures. I tried but Turkey is just so black the camera would not focus clearly enough but I did manage a few. This also gives you a good size reference of just how small she is next to her momma. I swear she is the size of one my marans or maran cross chicks at a week old.

Georgie and the Dumplings

(Feel like they should be a singing ensemble!)

Have mama and her chickies out in their pen today, they look super energetic. Digging away in the straw. Sorry about the angle of the camera, I have it attached on its side to the wall, down low, so I can see under the heater.

It’s a mild day here today again, yay! The horses are out without their blankets, they can roll in the snow and get they coat all cleaned.

She sure is tiny! She is more like a silkie chick in size, just needed those fluffy feathers and you would be able to tell!
