Could you just imagine if I worked at the DMV how few people would actually be driving on the roads?!TG you got home safely! Some drivers just don't belong on roads in inclement weather![]()

I agree. With the cold and my working late (and early dark in the winter - so don't get out to free range), I make good use of my bagged leaves to entertain them. I throw some scratch grain down and dump a bit pile of leaves on top - move aways over and do the same - then let them out to scratch and explore. The Ducks go CRAZY when they see a pile of leaves and immediately start 'drilling' through it (they 'dig through' it with their beaks). I dumped 1.5 bags in the run today. I'll dump some more tomorrow. They need to have fun to be healthy. I try very hard in the winter to keep them entertained.
Simply being honest.Rural mouse = Debbie Downer![]()

I don’t even bother to fix the horses beds. I just dump shavings and straw in there and the chickens tear it all apart. I just wish they wouldn’t kick it out into the aisle. But they have a blast going through it. And any bits of horse poop I miss is like gold hahaha.I agree. I was looking for Appenzeller Spitzhauben up here but couldn’t find any.My husband has done a thing...
He found out there's a breed of bird called a "deathlayer." He also knows of "zombies"
He says we should get them and have the most metal chickens.
Photos from a breeder I was talking to earlier...the guy also has a "pink egg polish" project
