I really hate to hear this. I also feel for the people that will be affected on egg prices.

When my girls start back up laying regularly this year my eggs prices will be $5 a dozen. Currently the cheapest I have saw them in the store in the past month has been $6.99. Honestly if I wanted too being fresh free range eggs if I wanted too I could charge $7 or more and not feel bad. I feel a bit guilty doing that as I want to offer affordable quality eggs.
I wish I could sell some eggs, my regular client has been in Florida since new years, and another client has moved.

As such I have 20 dozen eggs sitting in the fridge - I will have to waste the older one soon.

I appreciate that Pony. How are your chickens doing?
They are doing well thanks for asking!

Had to drain old Penelope’s ascitis last night. She is also 9, I am starting to baby her now. She had a rough time of it what with moulting and now this ascitis. All during the winter.

Everyone else is doing ok.

So...this person had a duck unsafely in their truck bed.

Thankfully she was unhurt and FEISTY! But once she bit a few times she settled for some pets and carrying.
Doing all you did was so kind of you ❤️
