Turns out you are too big for them to swallow which may be comforting!
It's the thought of being in the mouth and being taken down deep that scares me most, I think. Like that guy said, he didn't know how deep he was when the whale spat him out so he didnt know if he would have enough oxygen to make it to the surface. And my fear of the deep ocean is bigger than my fear of whales 🤣🤣🤣

Hindsight is always 20/20 :barnieIf I beat myself over every regret in life I'd be bruised black & blue all over!

Yes you are correct. I know one thing for sure, if I had any unwanted cockerels my Grandmother would have had them in the freezer fast! According to Mum, Grandma had one of Mum's 'pet' chickens for supper and Mum wouldn't eat it.

Mum used to have three she called Dick, Jane, and Sally (those of us older enough will know these primers youngsters read in school - maybe...?), she would put them in the stroller and push them around hahaha.

I guess I need to get a Dick and Jane, had a horse called Sally, not sure I want a chook called that just yet.

Sorry. Didn’t mean to trigger. I just thought it was a pretty amazing story.

Definitely don't join the navy or coast guard, then.....or maybe do...to overcome those fears...

yard doesn't look like this any more...solid blanket of fluffy white with more coming down and more forecast.

Lucy, one of my original girls, caught a frog. Because she was an ex-battery, she'd had her beak trimmed so the end wasn't pointy. She couldn't rip bits off it, so it died from blunt force trauma. Then she lost interest in it and walked off! I buried it under a frangipani I was planting at the time.
Just like a cat - if it's not moving they lose interest. Unless hungry that is!
