I wonder who ordered those? I’m not accusing The Queen, so maybe it was Sidney?
It used to be Phyllis. I don't know who has the password now.

Once they see/smell blood they don't usually stop. Isolation till she's healed is your best option. Injuries/illness is why we have a dog crate fence in the house.

As an added note about chickens & blood ~ I pricked my finger & the drop of blood turned my flock into a frenzy to peck it off before I could react 🦖!!!

@Marie2020 ~ You aren't the only one who mysteriously loses messages or emails on your phone. I don't do internet on a phone ~ I use a laptop & I lose stuff all the time. Sometimes I type a long message & it disappears even if I save it in draft & a couple hours later it mysteriously reappears. Other times I've lost emails never to be found again. Most of the time my one-finger typing is too tired to do it all over again. My techy DH watches me & says I'm doing everything right except sometimes glitches happen ~ they're computers!

Sigh, today I have felt blah. Ear twinges every now and then, achy as the day progressed and once again for the most part no energy. I took a nap and woke up congested in my sinuses. Everyone in the house is finally on the mend and past their contagious period. I cannot and will not come down with the flu. I am being paranoid right now. I can explain away everything I'm feeling. I am physically and mentally exhausted still from the nightmare that was last week and the weekend. I hurt because well, I'm 40 and it has snowed all day long and freezing.....I'm supposed to hurt a little bit. Head congestion, allergies, and they are acting up.

What I cannot explain away and is worrying me is my blood sugar. It started off perfect at 103 this morning. All I have ate today is 2 pieces of toast and a scrambled egg. My sugar has slowly crept up as the day has passed. Pump corrections are not budging it either. 215 currently.

I'm telling myself it is stress, stress can wreck your blood sugar readings, so can pain. I'm not getting sick, I refuse to get sick.

Wow. You really need to take some time for you and take care of yourself. I have no idea, with all that's on your plate right now, how you will do that. But, I hope you can find some time for self care. Wish I were there to help. Not that I would be much help. 😳 But, somehow I wish I could. :hugs

Learn to type. Even though you are old, it is worth it.

I found the Colemak layout to be better for me hands.

I'm still in therapy to regain use of my right hand/fingers after surgery. I know how to type well, believe me ~ I was a VP secretary for many years at 80 wpm on a manual typewriter in the 1960's & took shorthand at 120 wpm. The only reason I can type one-handed at present is cuz I know the old keyboard so well. The occupational & physical therapies for my right arm, elbow, wrist, & fingers continues into March so using both hands for typing is a slow work in progress. My right hand still can't pull up my britches on my right side :idunno

Currently I cannot even use a pen for writing cards & letters I used to love doing cuz elderly relatives aren't tech savvy for online contact. TG there is phone contact but even then some of the elderly just let their landlines go to voicemail cuz of robo-calls. So writing to them has been important to me.

But I am truly thankful you have been concerned for me. This old mind is still active but the body doesn't keep up as fast ~ I'm sorry to say. Bless you for your advice & thoughtfulness 🤗
