Roosting time tonight...

Cheetah is up on the back roost, near the wall. PITA is next with a slight gap, then a larger gap and Indigo, followed by Tuff. Blurr decided she needed to be up there, so hopped up between PITA and Indigo. Both promptly took exception to that (Indigo more vociferously). PITA went for back pecks while Indigo went for the feet. Seems the feet are more tender because Blurr moved away from Indigo, into PITA, who was forced to retreat due to Blurr's greater bulk (Indigo being the smallest). This promptly caused Cheetah to be squished against the wall while Blurr tried hiding her head under PITA. PITA decided that roosting next to Blanche was an improvement over staying next to Cheetah (she's never far from him) and hopped over to the other high roost, leaving the coveted spot next to Cheetah to Blurr. Indigo (known for running the length of the roost much like Aurora) kept after Blurr while Tuff slid down the roost to settle on the other side of Indigo...with only enough space for her to roost....while TOUCHING ANOTHER HEN (usually only roos and Lark are permitted to roost in contact with Indigo). Cheetah's protests disgruntled buk-buk-buks were entirely ignored throughout. He bailed off as I was shutting the door. They can work it out in the mostly dark.

Wait....is that a munchkin?
Nope. Enzo is a regular old barn cat.
My daughters cat Toast is a munchkin.

She's had a few days to heal w/ the bandage on before coming undone...unless the wound is reopened your care will be fine, eh?
The issue is the exposed bone end. I had no way of trimming it back and suturing the tissue. So it will need to heal over on its own which takes time, and needs undisturbed tissue.

So I scrubbed the heck out of it with chlorhexidine re-packed it with polusporin and a dressing over it.

Bed time drama - the world over it seems hahaha.

Speaking of which, good night wonderful people.

I'll see about it. I can call my vet and see if they can do it. I don't have money though so if it costs anything I won't be able to. I guess I can call around and see if anybody else will do it for free, if my vet wont.

I'm crossing my fingers that it's nothing, because nobody else is having the liquid poops. But I also worry that something else could be wrong, like cancer or digestive issues. So far Esme's acting completely normal, except for the watery poop. And I feel for her because I have bad digestive issues. I guess that makes me worry more because I don't want her to be in pain or uncomfortable 😕
If you can't get a float test, you could just treat her for worms and coccidiosis. It's not the best but it could help.
