Right off the corner of the porch, I can see into the run from the kitchen easily. We will put the anti-dig barrier down another day.

Do they all get on? Or do they have occasional spats?

In general they get along fine. Enzo chases Davis for fun. Davis doesn't care for it. Éowyn and Enzo will chase and play each other. Every once in a while Éowyn will chase Enzo off some spot where she wants to lay. Aside from that, no big issues.

The three of them will lay around me on the couch and ottoman at night in peace.

That’s great! It’s always nice when cats all get along. I have had lots of cats and they have all got along really well. Missy will be my last kitty to have - it way too expensive now to have pets.

The horses too, thankfully my Vet is still coming out to see my old girls - when he isn’t down south for the winter! And as far as the chooks go he is good about getting me any meds I need. Thank goodness I had him order me some sulphatrim before he went down south.

Now I need some dewormer….

Bought 4 from the farm store, 4 (plus a freebie so 5) from a local breeder, and hatched 17 here. Sadly one passed away Wednesday. The rest seem healthy, we'll do a thorough check of everyone when I clean the brooder tomorrow.

What is it with pets and pillows?
My chooks locate my pillows on the couch and want to stand on them. Is the couch not high enough for their needs? They want pillows.
I will never figure out those chickens. Their antics shock me sometimes. I have to keep telling myself that they are chickens and I should just go with it, calm my blood pressure down!!

That coop is very cute, but they aren’t all going to fit in there - do you have several more coops?
