He is his own worst enemy, he picks fights, and then doesn’t discipline the ladies for picking at him.

He needs to learn to walk away from the jerks, and berate the brats who pick him.

Oh well could be worse I guess. He could also be a jerk! This morning the chicks were checking him out to see ‘what’s up Dada, how come your not digging the straw for us’. They knew he wasn’t acting normal.

Poor wee man.

He is hanging out by the door, enticing the ladies to visit. Grrrrrr and there is Flopsy grooming him, she better not be picking his pin feathers!

He looks ok no blood….

I want him gorgeous and handsome again!

These Roos frustrate me to no end!

Anywhooo, I gave him some Tylenol and told him ‘rest, and elevate’ - he Cocorico at me and ‘hobble-strutted’ away.

Did I ever say, I trimmed the girls' butts?

They were very good. Gytha was the only one who got antsy (as expected) so I didn't get to trim away as many of her feathers as I wanted but at least I got all the poop out!

Magrat's butt was TERRIBLY poopy! Poor little thing! I had to pull some clumps out by hand, yuck. But she was so good. When I was done she kept looking back at her booty like she couldn't believe how clean it was

I need to get my sister to trim my chooks' butts. Especially the Cream Legbars, out of which Felicitas has the winner for fluffiest butt. Felicy also can't lean back as much so it just piles up on her fluff.

The fluffiest butts are often the poopiest, it seems. A blessing and a curse. Chicken wisdom.

Maybe once we're all set up here with the new coop/run, and whenever you're ready for more chickies, we could set up a trip to the breeder...
