And Mr P and Shirley are at it again today, Mr P got the worst of it the moron.

I guess I need to find Shirley a home to go to. He’s such a lovely boy too.

If only you were closer, my neighbor wants a Marans! Granted, I likely have one for her in my chick collection but I am not alone in wishing him a lovely life with a bunch of lovely wives!

Couldn’t your lot be out all the time now? Can still have him see no touch.

The four oldest can, but it is still getting down into the upper 20s F at night. I planned on moving them into the white coop this weekend though with the second brooder plate. The littlest chicks keep getting knocked over by the big birds antics.

It’s been a lovely day here, mostly sunny but a bit on the cold side, the chooks had a grand time outside digging around I did a double head count before I came in for supper.

Raven decided to come in early and get a prime roosting location.

It’s been windy and cold rain. I went to cover the interior window areas of the coop with leftover grain sacks, but would you know it, no staples in my stapler all three of them were empty! Off to town tomorrow (in the rain) to buy staples. Then I can get the stuff done.
