That's leakage! Hmmmm.....wonder where that came from?
Hmmm. Another genetic thing I won't understand! I have seen lots of references to leakage with red/gold on the body. But white, and on her head? Very strange. I think it is cute though.
It feels a bit like the weird genetics of white on cats. To have white on a cat requires at least one copy of the white-spotted gene. Two copies of the gene gets you a white cat, but any amount of white, even a teeny patch, means the cat has a copy of the gene.
So both Falafel (Tuxedo cat), and Nightshade (all black but with a few white hairs on his tummy) are both heterozygous for the white spotted gene.
Tax: my black with white friends.

If chicken beaks continually grow ~ wouldn't the super glue impede normal beak regrowth? I suppose it depends on the severity of the crack?
No, it wouldn't. It grows from the quick - just like a fingernail. If you super-glue the end of a cracked fingernail, it just keeps it from ripping more, but doesn't affect it's growth at all - same with a beak.

A Black Breasted Silver breed will have a white head rather than the gold (Nellie vs Twirp). A Dark Brahma also does that. The roos have black breasts.

any breed with the silver head, other color for most (or all) of body could pop the leakage. Subsequent moults could see it increase or vanish again.
