@RebeccaBoyd looks like that copper marans boy will move next door, either him or his near identical brother. My neighbor is in love with black copper marans roosters now that she's looked them up.
I'm willing to rehome a few more of the boys versus eating them. We'll see how they grow up.

I’m starting to rethink that idea. They are jungle fowl breed. Aggressive birds that have been bred for cock fighting, and good at fighting too! But I’m still just thinking about how all of the birds might Get along well or not.

That is the cutest thing I’ve seen in a long time. My heart melted.

The ceramic nest egg in the front nest disappeared a few days ago. I figured it was gone until I clean out the coop and dump all the bedding into the run.

Today, it magically appeared in the middle of the front nest box. Just, tada! here I am!

So do I. They were my mom's. It's a set, actually. The green one is the next size down, then a red one, then a blue one. I don't have the blue one. It broke about 55-60 years ago. I have a vague memory of it.

Were they Pyrex brand? Too long ago can't remember...
