That's a pretty good glare. The best glares are at a little bit of an angle.

Mera. 'Nuff said.

My Permethrin 11 finally came in the mail today and sis delivered it.

Looking at the forecast it appears tomorrow will be the perfect day to dunk the chickens and treat them for bugs. It is supposed to be 77 so I need to get on that early in the morning. I dread tomorrow and I am going to have some very very angry chooks. At least 2 of my hardest to catch girls are broody so there is that. The only hen I figure I will have to chase down is Mrs E. Turkey will be a pain to catch as well but she is contained to the coop. After treatment I'm thinking it is time to release the Turkey with the free range flock. She is now 5 months old and close to laying age. I know she is going to lay a tiny egg and I do not need to mix it up with the silkies. I just wanted to wait until she was treated for bugs before letting her loose.

Turkey likes to both Glare and judge me. She is very opinionated and is not afraid to let me know with her looks she finds me lacking as a servant.

She has been very critical of me since she was a tiny chicklet.

Leghorns are crazy, they all keep trying to fly and the poor legbar is like "why though"

That darn Tippy is such a naughty girl for flying everywhere.

Last evening the chooks didn’t get to spend more than 15 min outside when the rain just came pelting down. So I called them all inside and closed the door to keep the drafty damp wind out.

Once I had fed everyone I did a headcount - 34…. I needed 35. Recount. 34. Who is missing? I looked for the 2 obvious troublemakers - Butterscotch, yep. Tippy - nope! I bet she is outside, so I went out and called her, well she came running, and she was just soaked!

I told her “if you would stop wandering off you wouldn’t be soaked right now”.

I really need to put the netting up to stop her and Butterscotch from flying out of the run. Brats!
