Well, look at that! Hi little ones, welcome to the worldHere are the little nuggets still in the incubator. I cannot wait to get them out and get proper pictures so their true silvery blue color will properly show up.

Naw, you’ll sit around for a while, but then you’ll want a new purpose. You’ll get some part time job or start a new business (trust me, retirement isn’t for the faint of heart)Don't we all.
I am mainly responsible for that path as it is my way from the Chicken Palace run out to a bench I like to sit on and enjoy chicken time. But they are definitely still manicuring the Artemisia and have a couple of tiny chicken tracks through it. I need to cut some of it down so it doesn't swamp the Honey Berry bushes I planted for them. So, are they continuing Babs' habit of manicuring the Artemesia to keep pathways open? It looks like it there - but not sure if it is just that it hasn't 'taken over' yet this season or not.
BTW: That looks like a GREAT spot for sunbathing! Shade and food for nibbles just steps away - yet still full-on sun to enjoy. Like being at Hampton Beach without all the extra people!
How do you prepare/use Artemesia? I think I have a boatload here, too.
That is an adorable picture - you should submit to Caption Competition and POW.Oh my! Yeah I really hope it's something other than chickens. I was able to get hypoallergenic body wash at the store yesterday, that was nice to not have to use an ivory soap bar.it's so drying!
Tax, here are the little darlings about ready to move outside to the heated coop.
Definitely not used to leghorns, they're so active and look at the combs already!!! Maybe these girls will have big flopover ones.

And then there's Dream, so tiny in comparison. Hubby asked if she's staying with the newborns when they hatch, so I need to think about that for a bit.
Making me hungry! I have miserable cankers yet again making eating miserable. So I am struggling with eating.I'll have to go look and see if I can get pictures. The grass has been mowed since I noticed them.
Cooking is fairly easy. Grandma always removed any dead leaves, roots or debris from the greens. Then we washed them several times. She would then cook them all together in the same pot. Greens, water, and her go to, bacon grease to season. It did not take long, 30 minutes to a hour depending on how big of a pot she was fixing. Serve it up with a slice of fresh out of the oven cornbread and if you have them on hand fresh green onions and enjoy.
I think I can tinker around the place - winters are hard as I can’t get outside - I’ll move to Van Island when I retire I think. Kris and I can swap chooks around hahaha.Naw, you’ll sit around for a while, but then you’ll want a new purpose. You’ll get some part time job or start a new business (trust me, retirement isn’t for the faint of heart)![]()
Technology...so sad. The last 10-15 yrs has leaped progressively so fast it's forcing people to keep upgrading services/equipt to keep up! Reminds me of when telephones 1st became household amenities. New, better & fancier they became till there were more push buttons on an office phone than on your shirt!Amazon should be honest about what they are able to do. This charity would crash if they can't receive their wishlist. It's really simple a customer pays for the transaction to be delivered to the farm. Or Amazon leave a message explaining you have to manually add the address.
I can't add apps to my phone, I have a really awkward mobile. I even have too phone for help to get updated protection, or apps just add to my phone and slow everything down, even calls .So I was really dependent on this wish list service
Nice hearing from you, sorry you're so sick. I had a dream about your wife's bantams the other night, that she had some at a farm swap and I was trying to convince my husband to get me some.Hi everyone. Work has been crazy busy. Caught a stomach bug and salmonella around first of April and wasnt able to keep anything down. Just now getting my strength back. Nothing like being dehydrated and malnutrition for 3 weeks to zap your energy. Hope everyone and their chooks are well. I look forward to trying to catch up.
