It’s heaven! Or will be once I graduate with my BSc in Ecology (I am the Boomer in class with the Zoomers, and it’s wonderful.)

Chicken therapy on late afternoons is lovely.

I went back to college after retirement w/ instructors young enough to be my grandchildren. After completing credits I never even bothered w/a ceremony or picking up the diploma. I should've just gone straight to chickeneering after retiring!

Nice hearing from you, sorry you're so sick. I had a dream about your wife's bantams the other night, that she had some at a farm swap and I was trying to convince my husband to get me some.

Lety has found a color pattern with her bantams that the locals love. She sells them as fast as she can raise them. She has probably sold over 20 this year. I'll see if i can get some pics.

@RebeccaBoyd ~ breeding black w/splash will give you 100% blue chicks & doesn't matter which is the roo/hen. Oddly, breeding two blues gives only 50% blue chicks.

Hi everyone. Work has been crazy busy. Caught a stomach bug and salmonella around first of April and wasnt able to keep anything down. Just now getting my strength back. Nothing like being dehydrated and malnutrition for 3 weeks to zap your energy. Hope everyone and their chooks are well. I look forward to trying to catch up.

Should I have worn a mask while reading this post? . Poor guy, dehydrated and sick… not fun at all.

Making me hungry! I have miserable cankers yet again making eating miserable. So I am struggling with eating.

My Dr says likely stress - from work, and lack of good sleep.

Our boy had an adventure last night; seems he didn’t want to stay in his new home, hopped the fence and took off.

The new Hoomans were in a panic, hunting for him. They finally found him, caught him and now he is in the coop for a few days to get familiar with his new harem and home.

Gosh these chickens are going to drive us crazy aren’t they

So sorry about your mouth sores. That is just miserable!
