Lost Tippy tonight….

Spent 35 min looking for her, became frustrated and annoyed. Then resigned to her being gone. Of course then I stopped and through where did I last see her.

Reenie’s hay net. Went and check and there she was in the hay net, she laid an egg there - no wonder Reenie wasn’t eating her hay!

I told her off called of some names then chucked her out of the net. It’s not a good time to irritate me chook - I don’t feel well, my arthritis is miserable, I don’t sleep, I have cankers in my mouth and they cause more pain, then when I thought that she would be gone for good it just made me irritated not sad. She is such a troublemaker!

What are you gonna call it, maybe spark arrested? :lau
I’m not helping am I?
Kelly would know what a spark arrester is for.
Either it's a taser weapon, or engine combustion or muffler arrester, or it's the top of my farm folks' incinerator before incinerators were outlawed. Arresters or no arresters the county tried to ban homeowners using their fireplaces. Maybe they'll target BBQ grills next?

TX ~ I chuckle every time I come across these inquisitive chicks

Do what I do - chat them up and throw in a hint about needing to move some dirt, look all helpless, and I am sure they will offer to move some wood chips. Then to cap it off offer them fresh bread cookies and tea (or coffee) when they finish helping!

Our Power line guys are great - they cut down down some trees for me and have me a load of wood chips for the garden. They were trimming trees and I mentioned my Poplars were worrying me about falling on the lines. Down came my trees!

They were looking at the Red Wing Black Birds
These guys worked really hard until well after dark. They were covered in mud. But they got it done. Apparently I have to follow up about some other wires down on the ground (not live I assume), but it was too dark for them to show me.
I will look tomorrow.

And don't throw away the wood either. We know a tree trimmer and one of my siblings gets the scraps and makes wood bowls.
