I love this one's owl face

And look what was on the side of the road! A small dog grooming table! Gonna fix it up and give Fenix a real haircut (and then he can get a real job )

Handfuls already.

Little incubator bird is still alive, I checked it out and it still has some red (yolk vein?) Sticking out so we left it in the incubator until the fluff covers it so the other birds won't pick it open. The remaining egg has no movement or chirping. I'll make the call tonight if there's nothing happening.


These babies are so W I D E it's hilarious. They're going to be the best bowling ball birds.

Roadside treasures are the best! Furniture pieces, doors, windows, doghouses, lumber, mirrors, just never know what's out there! Freeways have a treasure of new things flying out of pickup trucks ~ new pipes, new mattresses, tool boxes full of tools (our special find), new couches...but most items are too dangerous to stop traffic to rescue.
