Striped chickens are unique IMO ~ Doms & BR's have a shared breeding history ❣️

Is there a splint on Coco's leg or ??? Do you have a pic of her leg?
Coco this morning. She just wants to be close to me: image.jpg

She’s back!
Well I don’t know it is the same girl but she marched confidently up the drive like she knew where she was going.
Once again solo and no chicks in tow.

Awwww hope she is the one! She knows a hood thing when she sees it!

Geese are pretty smart and curious!

Mine do have to come over whenever I enter the run - but it is to see if I have any goodies, not so much because they love me! They don't know their individual names....but they respond to 'gee-gees', as that is what I say when I have dug up some weeds or what not for them! And, I am their bestie whenever I bring in a head of cauliflower! No need to cut it up - I just hang the whole head on a plant extender hook - both the geese and the chooks attack it with gusto. I have to be careful and try to hide the fact that I have a couple of cauliflower heads with me - or the chickens jump and peck trying to get at it - and sometimes use my body as parkour!

Soon, Sampson will be back to his old self - very friendly - but right now, with teh girls in lay - he is very honky! At least he isn't hissy like when they are first coming into season in mid Feb. Each year I have to 'reteach' him to give me space and I will leave their end of the coop alone!!!!
