Good job on the mowing - looks great!
Love the heap of dust bathing chickens.

I may have delivered a death blow to BIL’s lawn tractor

I will need to get it looked at in any case.

The chooks had a blast running after whatever critters were in the now short grass

That’s the part of the lawn they tore up, I am ok with it as long as they don’t start to creep out further. It’s very sandy here so I need to be careful not to disturb the grass too much it takes too long to grow back!

Georgie is again broody. Grrrr!

She was gifted an egg by Fluffy - whom I figured wasn’t laying eggs anymore. I was wrong. Anywho, I have taken her outside a few time today, and boy can that little monkey run fast! Back to her nest box!

Pony Sunday

Three babies!!!!

Mama flew back onto the nest as I was closing the window after taking this photo, she had a worm in her beak but she ate it herself. It’s really chilly, going to be frosty tonight. I hope mama can get food into them before the night time.

I have the blinds closed in this room so no one disturbs her.

Been busy filling the garden beds today. Thankfully it's cool enough I can wear my sweater and big hat. Still can't be in sunlight without covering up or I break out in hives. Maybe I'm allergic to the sun.

I know right?! And in a few weeks they will be fledging! Now, they grow fast!


And…. Just remembered it’s actually Monday - duh! I am getting as bad as Notabitail!

But anyways I couldn’t wait until next Sunday to show these ones off.
