I have not found the best spot. I was thinking along the run fence.
I planted some tiny ones a couple of years ago and just released them from the Goldenrod jungle. Turns out they grow really quickly and mine are covered in fruit this year.
I see chickens stuffing their little faces and not sharing any with me!

A career in law enforcement, interrogation, years of college and professional training, years of experience in the field and what became of me? A tiny chick who I love so deeply that I cry. And even when she poops 💩 on me I don’t mind. Talk about stress training 🤦‍♂️
Did I mention that she’s smaller than an apple 🍎 but is able to bring me to my knees?!! :love

It’s a chilly day here, my hands are freezing, and I am not sure where I left my gloves! It’s a bit early - well lots early, but I think I will bring the horses in and the chooks too. I am cold! Sorry kiddos I know you’re having fun…

Love that. Thanks. 🥰

Mama flew back onto the nest as I was closing the window after taking this photo, she had a worm in her beak but she ate it herself. It’s really chilly, going to be frosty tonight. I hope mama can get food into them before the night time.

I have the blinds closed in this room so no one disturbs her.
How wonderful. 🥰 thanks for sharing!

Would you like a few more? Some escape artists maybe? Or ninja brats?

Hoping my fruit trees fruit buds and flowers survive tonight’s frost. Have covered the tomatoes and such, also closed up the barn and Hen Houses’ windows. It’s not unusual to have frost at this time of year here, but normally it considered ‘safe’ to plant stuff now - usually! I have seen frost and wet snow in June though. So anything goes it seems!

That you have such a February face,
So full of frost, of storm and cloudiness?”
