I planted some tiny ones a couple of years ago and just released them from the Goldenrod jungle. Turns out they grow really quickly and mine are covered in fruit this year.
I see chickens stuffing their little faces and not sharing any with me!
Why would they share with you - servant girl? You can get the drops we miss!:lau:lau:lau:lau:lau

I suspect you should go out with a cup or bowl and fill it BEFORE releasing the velociraptors!! Maybe when the berries are getting close, keep them in for a couple of days - or only let them out shortly before dusk so they don't go exploring new things......just so you get a chance at a few - after all, you did plant them!

I am hoping some of the berries will be too high up for them to reach. I only want one to try!
I am so glad I cleared the Goldenrod because I thought the Honeyberry bushes had died. It was such a lovely surprise to find them.
Of course I also made it easier for the Princesses to get to them, but I did plant them primarily for the chickens so I guess that is OK.

Some time during the night or early morning Snuggles the chick died. I don't know what from, she had no visible injuries. Maybe she fell off of something and broke her neck. The other 9 chicks are seemingly healthy and alright.
Oh no! I'm so very sorry. Unfortunately that can happen with chicks. :hugs :hugs :hugs
