Such lovely chirping! They seem to really want to interact with the big girls - staying right by the adjoining fence and chatting away!

Hope the bigs are at least half as interested in meeting (nicely!)

Polish aren't chickens, so I don't know how the Queen will deal with them.

FWIW, I'm seeing pullet behavior in them. Cockerels do a LOT of popping up and down when hunting for goodies, or separate for the looking.

Came home to this adventure

Pear, leading Violet and Blurr into mischief. Went down to chivvy them back. They came back to see what goodies I had.

and they followed me down...

they all followed me back up the hill, begging. Seeing as they follow (chivvy from behind leads to them cussing me out) so nicely, they got an extra handful of scratch...and a fresh banana peel (it still has 'nanas on the inside). Why do I feel like the Pied Piper?

Missing my babies today. I miss all of them, but these four the most.
Especially seeing how much of a gentleroo Marble is, Ric Flair and Versace would have been just as good, I know it.

I have great confidence in polish roosters. They just seem to have the best attitude towards everyone.

You don’t have a persuader stick like I do? Or a red bowl? It gives them wings you know!

Tonight it was Silver Bird and Tippy I had to get inside. Thankfully they both were waiting for me to let them in from the rain. Tippy at the back door, Silver at the front.

Sorry ladies you snooze you lose - everyone ate all the scratch grain!

I walked down the hill. The 3 adventurers came running over to see what I had. The 12 (ish) on the top edge of the hill came down to see what I had. They all followed me back up...all the way to the garage where their food is. No need for a bowl or stick.
