Well friends, after a difficult and trying year, Junior year is officially over and everyone survived. I woke up this morning to a senior on my hands. I'm going to need all of their shortened summer vacation to adjust to this please.

How does she celebrate the start of summer, why, let me wake up to 5 additional teenagers at the house. A mere hour ago I got down to just 1 extra teen for the night. I am not complaining, I love her friends. They are respectful, and for a group of 6 in one room all gaming together quiet. My own teen is the loudest of them all. As soon as the pizza's get done they have me and my bro's girlfriend roped into a game of phase 10. I do not mind, me and Carla take pride into stomping children at cards and show no mercy.

I have goals this summer vacation, Rosie for sure needs tubes in her ears. We also find out Tuesday the results of her sleep study. Hopefully they found what they needed to get approved for her tonsils to be removed as well. This getting sick at the drop of a hat caused a lot of frustration this year and some stress playing catch up with her classes. I know if she is approved she is in for a rough road on recovery as she is older, but it needs done. I just dread the time she comes out of anesthesia. She has been under twice, and both times she comes out of it as hateful as a black snake.
Congratulations 🎉 This is our first week into summer break. I hope she comes through the surgery well and that you both have a great summer!

You are just so desperate to get out, aren't you?

It's imperative to show the little ones in at least one post per day.

I went to the local pet shop to get more food for the little ones and I come across this rat giving me the side eye.

This one just wants to see who's there.

The same rat. I think these are albino rats but the sign just said "medium sized rats" or something like that.

Rats are very intelligent, one of the reasons they are so hard to get rid of.

Those babies are so sweet 🥰

Oh I hope she gets approved in this case, and hopefully she will feel much better ♥️

My new wireless bridge is working well, my mind not so much. And must have disabled the light - which is on a timer to come on at 4:30 when I do chores during the week - bit then last night I pulled the lights cord to shut it off so it wouldn’t come on at 4:30am. Um guess I must have already disabled it!

Well they can wait I am not going out there yet. It’s darn chilly!

Silly me - but happy the internet is restored out there.

Having gone through 3 seniors, the most recent last year....GET SENIOR PICS DONE BEFORE THE SCHOOL YEAR STARTS!!!!! The editing can be done after the year starts, but it's a royal pain to do the photo shoots after the year starts too.

@featherhead007 does this count? Neither one of Cumulo's feet are on the ground...

I woke up at 4:45 to hens fussing--- I went to the coop . all were on the root looking at Onetail stiff on the coop floor. She didnt make it.

I’m so sorry for your loss. :hugs :hugs :hugs

Hope she gets approved and the surgery goes well. I dread it each time my husband goes under anesthesia. It removes all his “filters” and he is worse than a belligerent drunk who says whatever is on his mind.

Wow they sure are growing fast aren't they? I am always amazed to see how fast they grow up.

Pony Sunday

I came across this story yesterday evening when I was watching 'Harry Wild' online. I noted this photo of a grey horse jumping a fence and so of course being a horse crazed fool I had to check it out. How I never heard of this horse before is beyond me!

Snowman and his cherished Hooman Harry DeLeyer

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snowman_(horse)

What an awesome story, and that horse sure looks like he knew a good thing! Like my old stallion Indy, sounds like Snowman was a character who just enjoyed being with his Hoomans. Those horses are the ones worth their weight in gold ❤️
