I am about to have a free range egg that we bought the other day.

We went out into the country for a garden centre and found this house built in 1550. They sold eggs there

They have speckles like my girls used to lay
Chuck Norris, actor, loves dogs... says give eggs to dogs, raw or cooked. Will Nancy Rose get one of these 🙂?

I held out for quite sometime believe it or not. I did not have a cell until I was in mid 20’s and it was just a simple phone. Texting was not practical then really to many button presses to get the letter you needed 🤣

My mom had one of the first car phones though. It now seems hilarious big chonky thing that had to be professionally installed. It was useful though as she drove ALOT. I do remember the cigarette lighter version!

Edit to add Thirsty Thursday & cell phone tax:

Sweeties... the chickens too💕

Those old car phones were the size of suitcases & felt like bar bells to lift to your ear👂

But my first cell phone was a flip phone ~ too many buttons to push to find a letter when texting! It looked like a Star Trek communicator. In fact, it's reported a flip phone was used to simulate that Star Trek communicator!

I skipped the Blackberry w/its convenient keypad & went straight to an Android slim touch phone. I'd still have that same phone except it no longer supported lower than 3G any more. Technology moves so fast models are already outdated when you buy them!

First time in a couple years that she's entered the Main Desk on her own will.
So pretty ❣️
& that's Legs for you... they come to you when they say. It was half a year before our Leg hopped onto the arm of my Adirondack chair to take treats out of my hand. Maybe she was afraid the Silkies crawling up my legs to my lap would get to the treats first!

And he's a cuddler, silly little fart.

The other night he and Mr P were scrapping so I went and picked up Mr P who screamed blooming murder (I grabbed him from behind he didn't see me); well Mr LC leapt onto my back and was very intent on checking out Mr P.

He was either trying to see if I was hurting him to help him OR I more suspect he was looking to see when he could leap in and finish him off - BRATS!
The smaller they are... the bigger the ego❗
