I’m just waiting for the sun to rise and my chicken sitter to arrive. Driving to Washington State would be 14 hours and 48 minutes, but I’m flying, so the flight is considerably shorter than driving.

Navy digging for treasure. The hole was almost as deep as she stands tall last night when she finally went to bed.

Also friends with stripy chickens, can I please have some pictures of them? Kiddo is very sad Comrade is gone and I told her I'd find some stripy chicken pics for her to cheer up.

Whiskers is seriously broody, and she has no intention of listening to me tell her that no babies.

Seems Whiskers has decided she doesn’t want to be broody.

That means at the present no one here is broody. Let’s see what Holly does in a few weeks. She laid a second egg today.

I’m sorry to say this, but it’s not a joke.
My brother has lost his child to cancer today. I was notified only minutes ago. We were hoping that an experimental drug would work to kill off the cancer cells, but it didn’t work. He passed away today, a few hours ago. May you rest in the eternal arms of the angels Levi. The family loved you and we will see you again someday.
