Along with the cat and dog all having treats together.
Flexi ran off with the dog treat once. I wish I could have got a picture. The cat and dog just looked at me bemused

I’m sorry to say this, but it’s not a joke.
My brother has lost his child to cancer today. I was notified only minutes ago. We were hoping that an experimental drug would work to kill off the cancer cells, but it didn’t work. He passed away today, a few hours ago. May you rest in the eternal arms of the angels Levi. The family loved you and we will see you again someday.

That sounds terrible. My condolences and prayers go to your brother and you.

You can try honey water to get some calories into her. Dissolve a teaspoon in about 1/2 cup of hot water and let it cool down (easier to dissolve in the hot water).

I use a small 1cc insulin syringe to drench (feed via mouth) with. You need to be extremely careful not to have them aspirate the fluid into their lungs though.

The foot weakness could be lack of calories or neurological issues.

Curly toe paralysis can often be Vitamin B2 deficiency.

Thanks you two. I gave her a hard boiled egg and mixed it with her usual pellet food and gave her water mixed with mushroom powder. She's feeling much better now. She has been walking and is happy.

The cochins put themselves to bed last night! So today they get to explore the run attached to the coop! I wanted to make sure they can go inside if they want to.


Navy waited for me to come out and wanted to be carried to bed. Breezy was talking to her, trying to convince her to go to bed but she didn't listen to him. As soon as I walked in and she came to me, he looked at me, bokked once, then went to bed. "She's your problem now"
