I took these on my morning walk the other day.

Blue jays are such funny wee birds! Here, they love to fly over the chooks screaming at them, the poor chooks run for cover.

They are happiest when they are busy.

Which is why I don’t get too annoyed when they are naughty, though my manure pile is taking a real beating from those kiddos - they sure can dig! They have dug so much of the manure pile and have it strewn all over.

But they are happy so I just sigh and shake my head.

Father’s day, so happy day to all the fathers out there.
Note: I’m getting pretty annoyed by people who ask me if I ever flew to Hawaii in my 172.
Makes me crazy. Only one guy turned his Cessna 172 into a flying gas can and actually made the trip. To me, that’s just being foolish and way too risky. I don’t tempt fate!

Dakota kept me company last night, and this morning, she was grunting her usual “daddy, do you have any treats for me this morning?” Sound.
I gave her some of my leftover burrito I had last night. She wasn’t too impressed by that.
