I went shopping earlier this morning and bought a pearl necklace to reward my friend from church, who always gave me chicken gifts . I think that they would look lovely on her. She always tries to look nice when I see her. Is this friendship gift a bit too much?View attachment 4149916

In my old age I would chalk up the expense of a drive or a flight as a vacation expense. In retirement a drive once in a while is a refreshing outing... win-win if it's to pickup birds

Agreed! Sometimes I just take a different route home to see something new hahaha.

She really is. I love her little eagle face.

The last three were Slowpoke, Copper, and Comrade. I wanted to keep them longer but they were getting too violent.
We have kept Breezy, Cemani, and Nosy Posy.

Nosy Posy is so gorgeous. And Breezy is such a little gentleman. I hope they stay good for you!

What method do you use to cull your birds? I may have asked before but I have a goldfish memory.

I don't eat much & a full dozen would infer I'm a glutton... we don't want to offend anyone. Besides 1/2 dozen cartons are so cute & easy to handle.
