Hattie Update

I turned Hattie so she could watch TV and a friend joined to keep her company.

I kept her in until nearly 7 pm and then I moved her back out. She is now comfortably resting in the Cluckle Hut with the Phyllistines
I am đź’• loving Eowyn... so many special kitties are/have been posted on here!

They really do look like they are hanging out together. It also looks as if the small tiger has brought over a toy for Hattie.

Okay everyone, so after some consideration, her name is now Hawk. I went from Blondie to Shakira, but my mother was telling me that her face looked like a hawk and it hit me that the black one we have is called Raven and I figured it would make sense if we called this brown one by a type of bird. So Hawk and Raven. Two types of birds.

She lovely ♥️
Hello Hawk!

Rue -
Almost all symptoms except her leg and gait issues have disappeared. Unfortunately her leg and gait have gotten worse. Her left leg has some visible swelling now. She is now inside in the tent, the heat was adding a layer she didn’t need.

I have spent the day trying to devise some form of a hammock for her that both alleviates the weight and is safe. I have failed though. She isn’t weak enough to accept this and she fights like a banshee. Anything that encircles her legs isn’t safe as she will push out of it come hell or high water. Anything that doesn’t she will not stay in.
My middle ground, I am heading to tractor supply tomorrow to double the finely shredded wood chips, hopefully this will provide more cushion.
She remains alert, curious, and is still eating, drinking, and pooping. One heck of a fighter.

Darn I had hoped that carry sling I found on Amazon would work for her. Well beat I can suggest is put her in a smaller crate. I have had to do similar with my horses, stall rest for 3
Months for a fracture.
