I love how over time a perfect name develops for a pet

I know right!

Truly’s name is Truly Precious - and it’s not because she is so precious. Just substitute precious for any old word you like, over time she has been truly stupid, truly evil, truly trouble, truly a dingbat, truly a turnip, truly gonna get a big beating, truly exasperating, as so it has gone for 23 yrs - I truly do wish had sold her rather than her sister Malaka.

Yeti selfie. She tried to eat my brand new ring so she got hugs as a punishment.

Really great wattle flap from Gentle. Marble asked me to refill his food, then let the girls eat most of it before he did.

Did I share this earlier? Bean-boy got his first eggy from these birds. He was very grateful.

Now for a Breezy update. Around noon, he was panting, wobbling when he tried to walk, and laying down a lot. I cooled him off in a pan of water (yes he was offended because it was a turkey roasting pan)
Kiddo and I both have bad weather headaches today so I couldn't spend as much time with him as I wanted.

Just now I brought out a jug of Hydro Hen for everyone and he trotted away from me, no wobble or panting that I could see. Only a bit of purple on his comb, a little more than he usually gets. So hopefully he's on the mend. He ducked into a coop before I could get a picture.

Relief

Thunderstorms around us have obscured the sun. The temp has dropped 10 degrees to 88°F (31C). While it does not look like it will rain here the relief is real. Hattie is laying outside in the grass along the fence line.

Dr appointments for both me and Rosie this morning. Rosie has to see a ENT, tonsils and adenoids have to come out. She already has another double ear infection once again. He is sending me to a orthopedic surgeon. Finally got a MRI on my shoulder and there is a tear. Bad enough that he is skipping physical therapy and heading straight for surgery.

Hope you get some relief - I truly do.

Oh and his beak has grown back! And in fact needs a trimming. This weekend that will happen.

25C (80f) still but no humidity! Even old Red was out, she is quite frail these days. I guess she is 8 now, that old for a Sex-link, it’s just her and Raven left from my BIL/niece’s flock.
