@featherhead007

I've rallied up a few more congregation to add to your church. They are currently marching your way as we speak.

Meet your very own Quakers Quartet

I wonder... could they be Dewlap Toulouse w/ those saggy butts? They are so-o-o cute. My mom had non-dewlap Toulouse breed w/o the saggy butts back in the 1950's.

I give them slices including rind that in about 5 seconds, turn into chunks!😍 and then the rind is completely gone in 36-48 hours.

I kinda hate watermelon myself :oops: , but the girls definitely adore it.
It's pure sugar energy & hydration, so definitely great for them in hot weather. A 2nd good option is cantaloupe. All melons should be washed well w/ produce soap before slicing? Something about intestinal bacteria?

Yesterday, we had the older chickens take a bath and boy did they have a good time. I might have pictures later today (didn't take them yesterday) but Tony really likes being in the water, which surprised me since she usually is afraid of anything. Parmesan and Mozzarella also enjoyed the water. Those birds needed to cool off because panting, drinking water and spreading the wings don't help much. Tomorrow is supposed to be in the high 70s, a break from the ghastly heat we've been having. There have been extreme heat warnings.
