They sure are, and these game birds are too fast to catch. It took myself and a neighbor to wrangle him/her back onto my property. Some people in my neighborhood are kind enough to help.

Glad you were able to wrangle the critter. Is everything ok?

Just getting ready to head out to do chores, checked the gals and they are mostly in the Hen Houses

And look at these two up on the door! Tippy and Mr LC - they have flown up onto the door from the ground. Brats!

I better get out there and get everyone back to bed, back to work for me tomorrow I’ve had a nice wee break from work, I was able to get my palms planted, I will bring them in for the winter:

And a bunch of Musa Basjoo (banana) I picked up. They grow fast and get large! By Sept they will be a good 3 or 4’ tall.

Saw parts of 3. She's doing well.

Ginny could almost be considered a real chicken, except that she’s got too much Silkie heritage. But she’s beautiful, whatever she is!

She's a bossy b*tchy primadonna snot is what she is since the 1st day we brought her home... & everyone stays outta her way! In most videos w/her in them she's either pecking at another or else they are nowhere around her if they can help it. Dana the old Dominique is the only one she doesn't mess with.

Ginny, the Buff-Blue Partridge will peck at any chicken near her or they run outta her way or else she's sitting alone somewhere in the yard ~ these videos show her self-proclaimed status:

All Pretty pics The banana plant intrigues me ~ is it ornamental or will it give fruit? I thought they were a warm tropical plant... is this one cold hardy? My neighbor pulled hers out cuz she said it never gave her one banana; I suspect in our hard soil & heatwaves she wasn't home enough to keep the soil wet & loamy which the plant loves. Your flock certainly will love the bananas!
