Yes just like a string trimmer (Stihl) brand. The ban on all gas powered lawn equipment started in 2024.
Maybe made a lot of new buyers really mad. We can still use existing equipment but can’t buy new ones.

Seems extreme. Esp considering batters are just as bad for the environment

I have a battery powered one because the gas one is too big for me. It works great, and battery lasts a good amt of time.

Gas powered are available up here. Taking battery operated chainsaws out to cut wood is a terrible idea. You really don't want to haul along anything more than you have to. The number of batteries needed to keep going for 1 trip exceeds the volume of a gas can that will keep you going for several trips. Now, for keeping the trees nearish your farm/ranch house in good shape, a battery operated one is great.


Battery operated lawn mowers and weed wackers are also potential problems, depending upon yard size. Gas and battery powered are both available.

It is extreme and yes bad for the environment. I expect WA state to do the same thing one day.
They also want to start charging people for driving by the mile. So far they haven't been able to do that. It will definitely go to the highest court, because that would allow the state to track people and I believe it's illegal for the government to track us. We live an hour one way from any major shopping and Dr.

Now to a happier tax. They just had grapes and I still have all of my fingers!

Isabel's eye (both to a degree) is definitely more noticeable in these pics. And concerning. hang in there. She looks like she's enjoying life.

So, I found a small patch of grass WITHOUT "landmines" and sat out to take pics of the littles/do some observations (my brick is in the wrong spot for where they were hanging). Near the water bucket....so go NO thirsty pics of the adults who kept strolling by and checking things out.
