Just hatched today. In quarantine in my bathroom for a few days to give the Marek’s shot a chance to work and then I will try and persuade Tassels to adopt them.OMG!!!!!
Are these new?! Will you put them under a broody?!
Oh gosh is that one a polish? Do I see a topknot?
That little one does have a poof and I am a tad worried as it looks very large so I hope it isn’t a vaulted skull issue. She is also much smaller than the others and seems to be a bit of a bully!
Yes one is darker and one is lighter of the red ones.Well, Polish are a bit 'large and in charge' type personalities, so I am not totally surprised. I suspect the others will still find their place in their own mini-flock....give them a few days together to 'get their bearings' and sort out everything with their 'new friends'.
So cute...this picture actually shows 3 that are reddish...I thought one looked darker in the other pic...must have been the shadow.....oh, this is so exciting![]()

The black and white one isn’t Polish. She is some kind of designer mix. She has feathered legs and 5 toes on each foot.
She isn’t a bantam - just really tiny right now.
They are all only half under the heat plate but fast asleep and not complaining so I guess they aren’t cold.
Strange.
