And she’s out. Managed to catch her before she fell off the table.
This lot are mean to each other. Yesterday cookies was picking on everyone - but in particular Buckeye.
Today Buckeye is getting her own back and is also determined to pull out chippy’s eye stripes!

This morning he was snoozing in his kennel. He was sulking the last few day plus it was to warm . The sulk was because I'd wiped around the inside of his kennel and washed his blanket.

How I wish I'd taken my phone to take a picture of how I found him, the blinds were hiding him but his two front paws were sticking under the blinds.

Because he was so annoyed yesterday morning I left him where he was and carried on cooking his and Nancy's turkey mince, leaving the back door open. He came in and started preening himself whilst he waited for his breakfast.

At last my breakfast is ready so I'll let you off for waking me up this morning

Sweet of you to ask... but no, neither my old sis nor I can do art or crafting any more ~ she's blind, while arthritis has hit my fingers! She & I used to have pretty handwriting too ~ now all we do is sit & talk about our aches, pains, doctors, & therapy appts

And guess who managed to get up into the box on top of the heater plate. I haven’t even put shavings in there yet!
And yes, she flew down with great ease.

Does your mail get stolen?
The USPS doesn’t deliver to me - I have a PO Box at the Post Office.

USPS Tax: babies survived the night and seem to be believers in a hearty breakfast.

Mail isn't stolen but USPS & FedEX have delivered to wrong houses Some neighbors have locked mailboxes but none of our important business is by mail so no longer need to spend $$$ on a P.O.B. just cuz of USPS incompetence.

Things that were stolen most recently in our neighborhood have been our county trash bins. Almost everyone around here have had at least one bin hijacked.

And our chickens will miss the bins if gone...

Sebrights are so tiny to be mixing w/standard roos. Did you have a plan about that? You certainly have the space for separate pens. All bantams are too adorable to resist

Good to know! I am constructing a vertical nipple waterer for them now. Figuring how to hang it in their tent.

We placed our chick nipple waterer elevated on a brick with the nipple over the edge, no need to hang, never got knocked over either ~ 3 Silkie chicks at the waterer at the same time (monkey see/monkeys all do!)

I rehomed the last three lil roos I had yesterday… I found a girl who shows and breeds true bantam Ameraucanas… so she took the boys and traded me these two… she is almost positive that they are girls.. if not she will take them back. If the ermine one is a roo I might keep him… anyway, I have them separate.. how long do I need to wait to put them with my 7 week old chicks.. these two are 8 weeks…
