What kind of hawk?
Can anyone tell me what hawk this is from the sound? They have unfortunately moved in to the tree above the Chicken Palace and they shriek all day every day.
Ignore the video of the hippy curtain and the background clicking of broody Piglet. It is the shrieking sound I was trying to get.

It is white underneath and I haven’t noticed a red tail.
Red shouldered hawks are supposed to be very vocal, but I don’t think they are so pale underneath.

That does not sound like my Coopers hawks.

Mozzarella is now trying to become Grandma by eating cake. Cake of choice (and only cake flavor available): Apple cider donut flavor.

Final result: devoured it. Absolutely enjoyed it. How was the cinnamon?

Happy Monday everyone.
I seem to have incited a riot by trying to give Tassels a treat of some grapes and blueberries. The chicks are going nuts for them and chasing each other all over for each one.
Stupid me, it took me a while to realize that Tassels was dropping them on the floor for them on purpose!
Here are a couple of mugs. Tassels taking her Momma Hen role very seriously, and look which itty bitty, smaller than everyone, managed to run off with the prize!
