@TX Chick Noob ~ all your pics were great but this one was a real rib-tickler for me :D

Found a new hiding spot, under the back nest box enclosed now when I fitted Whiskers brooding pen. The eggs are fresh they weren’t there Sunday.

But they were a pain to get at.

I try to keep them on a tight leash with laying eggs. Of course there are lots of good hiding spots in the barn!
It's Easter Sunday every day around here hunting for eggs ~ just in case there's one under the walking bridge, inside the raised garden bed, in the sandbox, under the benches, in the dog houses, on the back patio, or ???

hi everyone

i am home and finally out of the anesthesia fog. My entire arm feels dead due to a nerve block. Sadly that is starting to wear off in the last 2 hours. I am following the anesthesiologists strict instructions on pain control. i took my first dose at 6. I am to continue taking them every 6 hours until Saturday. Then i take them as needed. He warned me to not delay in taking them even if i was not hurting. if i let the pain set in i will be in a world of trouble. he said if i can keep ahead of it untill saturday then it will be smooth sailing. they do make me a little loopy, but i am sleeping most of the time.

i probably will not be on tomorrow. this typing one handed is for the birds.

That’s quite a lot, and I totally understand. Ive done so much more in life than I should have.
Sometimes I just want that loving feeling back.

DH & I take flush-free niacin (vit B3) every day to keep our moods out of the dumps. DH's Dr prescribed 500mg dosage for bipolar GAD but over-the-counter works fine & much cheaper than prescription. B vits are the most lacking in our American diets.

Some chicken ailments are importantly treated using different vit B's also.

Happy you're home recuperating!

Yep, one-hand typing is for the birds ~ I've been doing it now for 16 months. You'll get good at it soon!
