I am top heavy with elderly chooks so stands to reason I would have them passing on. They have a good life so I am ok with their passing.

Not sure Mr P would appreciate a kiss from me!

As for the chickies likely won’t keep any, I still want some Brahma!

Last night I checked the two questionable eggs and decided to chuck them - they had nothing in them.

Meanwhile I grabbed S2 and checked it and there was a lively chick in it. That one is likely a Roo hahahahaha!

Oh I don’t need to. I place the bowl down. Then Tassels flings it across the Chicken Palace so the contents is spilled. Then she shows the Littles how to dig for it.
Then, the moment I let them out of the Chicken Palace she takes the Littles outside the Palace leaving the feed for Pooh and Calypso to clean up.
And to attract rats. Ugh.

Ah, yes, the way of the chicken!

Glad you are on the mend.
I know you know this, but please, however much you hate the pain meds you must take them for PT days.
If you don’t then you won’t be able to push the PT to the extent you need and it will really risk your long term movement.
I have a friend who went light on the pills because they were afraid of addiction. Did all the PT visits but could never push as far as was needed. Never got full range of motion back.
Not trying to be alarmist but it is really important to be drugged up for PT.
Tax: Geronimo embarking on an adventure. She went up to the big branch and then launched herself off and fluttered to the ground.

I think (@rural mouse will correct me) Geronimo is the Golden Cuckoo Marans. Isn’t she supposed to be a sedate, calm sort of chicken. Not a wild child?
Cookie is also a wild child, but as she is all mixed up breed-wise I guess that is not particularly surprising.

They are just sowing their wild oats...lol. They might surprise you and be the calmest hens in your flock. Or they might forever be on the rampage...

It is still Thursday and Piglet is drinking her bath water.

I think I may need to deploy broody jail for Piglet and/or Sylvie. I hate to do it but they have been sitting for weeks now.
They do at least get up and eat now and then which Tassels never did.
However, Pooh and Calypso are so over their antics and are now laying their eggs in with Tassels and the Littles.
