Stool pigeons don’t look like this!Somebody, and I’m not naming names, pooped on my deck chair. So I stole Tyler’s. They are his chickens after all. (At least when they do something bad.)

We have a few poisonous weeds but are careful to make sure none grow where they can reach. Definitely have snakes, as well as scorpions, spiders, etc. No obvious signs of anything but could have been a small bite Heat is also a possibility, but we have had hotter/more humid days this year.?Very sorry to hear this. Do you think she ate something? Or maybe a snake bite? I don’t know your poisonous things downs your way.
One could move to Texas. One could be neighbors with this one. One could have a good time. One would probably hate our summer weather, though.![]()
You’re in Texas @janiedoe? So am I.And then there would be 4,000 chooks running around between the two of us! Hahahaha
Thank you. I try to do that for each of the ones I lose. Sometimes I post them as some times I don’t.You made a nice homage to her. I am so sorry for your loss!![]()
“I see you shiver with antici…………….pation.”Can you only imagine the antic
Anticipation!
Einstein was not the offender!Stool pigeons don’t look like this!
That's on my imaginary island. Do you remember? There is really no perfect weather place (well maybe the Turks and Caicos - not counting the odd hurricane), what I would love is a complex where I have everything indoors in the winter (nice swimming pool, indoor tropical garden for the chooks, indoor arena for the horses…), and then I can open doors and roofs in the summer and everyone can enjoy the summer heat![]()
And I ask you, what in the world is wrong with that? And then there would be 4,000 chooks running around between the two of us! Hahahaha
I love Kentucky. What time is lunch? No you both come to Kentucky. Then we can have 6,000 chooks and many horses between us all. After all, you cannot beat that KY Bluegrass for your horses.
The chickens that died? Were they just about laying age? If so the possibility of avian leukosis or mereks there. It is pretty common for them both because the tumors start growing and can cause death at around 20 to 24 weeks. Not trying to scare you but thats how it started here.We have a few poisonous weeds but are careful to make sure none grow where they can reach. Definitely have snakes, as well as scorpions, spiders, etc. No obvious signs of anything but could have been a small bite Heat is also a possibility, but we have had hotter/more humid days this year.
This is the third young chicken I have lost this year. Spangle was 8 months old, Jet was just under 2 years (and lost her only three weeks ago), and now Snowball. Makes me worry I am doing something wrong.
You’re in Texas @janiedoe? So am I.
@Ponypoor, that means even more chooks between the three of us. But no more horses for me?
Thank you. I try to do that for each of the ones I lose. Sometimes I post them as some times I don’t.
