I don’t know what I would do without my chickens. I’m known to be that “chicken whisperer from Tulare County”
Even the local Walmart has ordered extra pallets of salt free canned corn. Because I do buy so much of it for the kiddos! And everything I do seems chicken related. :he

Today it’s bonding time with my golden feathered ms. Aero the Orpington . Hates having picture taken! image.jpg

I let Aero out and brought in “flash” she’s a sweetheart too. She’s one of those Rockettes. Shes been molting lately. Don’t expect too much from her she’s stubborn, strong, and since Sir Jaffar left us she has been the leader of the tribe. Mr. Wyandottey, has been a pain in the hind feathers, and the Rockettes want nothing to do with him. Roosters!! :barnie

I had a doctors appointment this morning, so I let the birds free range a bit while I was gone. A nice neighbor found two of the game birds over the 8 foot fence, in the alley. Her dog chased them back over the fence, to safety. She said they easily flew over the fence, so I’m pretty sure that they were the game bird roosters.
My Orpingtons, don’t fly that well. The Rockettes don’t even think about leaving the yard. That leaves “Blue, CeeCee, Dakota, or Gizmo”??? I wasn’t there so I don’t know who left the compound? :idunno

Close call for sure!:th

Brats! I know Laverne can fly 4' not to much problem, but I don't think that is how she is getting out into the horses' paddock. There is a hole in the fence somewhere - tomorrow I will follow her around and find it mwahahahaha!

Hope you have a clean bill of health!
