iPhone supports wireless charging on iPhone 8 or newer, I believe.
I’m planning on buying a new phone very soon. I should have listened to you two years ago. I thought my connection was foolproof. But it became corrupted with spam and other luncheon meats! :he :th

No current run pics, I'm working on it and not happy yet. 😒

Get a phone with lots of storage space.

I'd even say getting the new shiny iPhone might be worth it so you get the longest life out of it if you don't want to upgrade in a couple years. Pixels have good cameras but mine sometimes struggles when taking photos of moving chickens. Not sure about iPhone since my last iPhone was a iPhone 5s.

Also Delft gave me a warning peck for each egg I grabbed to inspect. Just a gentle little "hey now"
It was too early to tell, the lightest eggs had clear veining but the rest I could not see into.
She gets a little confused after her daily ritual but I've been able to move her back quickly enough that the eggs aren't cooled off.
I was talking to hubby, this is as much a test of the tall nestboxes as a potential brooding space as it is of Delft raising eggs. I will have valuable information no matter the outcome...but these babies would be nice. I will also be able to close off her stall when it comes lockdown time. Maybe even the whole "box"

I have a towel I throw over the eggs in the nest when the mamas leave it. So far that's worked great seeing as how whenever I have broodies hatching eggs its always cold!

Whiskers gave the towel a suspicious look the first time she say it covering her eggs, but after she saw the eggs under the towel she was good with it. I just pull it off the eggs as she gets onto the nest.
