Yes, I misspoke on Ponypoor's Polish but I had already posted & didn't bother to edit.

Good job Delft 💕 Fun to see those Riddick babies grow. So far so good w/ that dark skin. Now the gender quiz begins 🥰

Gender - my luck would be all boys!!!

A couple of sticks, a stick and a rock, a stick and a piece of metal.....useful reason for keeping tin cans (well washed) mount on a post/branch/wall/fence, and leave a stick close to each. Bear wanders in, snatch the stick and start drumming. The metal doesn't sound quite natural to a bear's ears and they can be scattered all over as mini drums. Metal wind chimes can be scattered about too...
Singing works well and I find talking to myself is also effective.
A Canadian friend gave me a bear bell to clip to my jacket so I ring as I move.
I did once try saucepan lids and the bear looked at me like “lady, enough with the saucepan lids, if you wanted me to move on, all you had to do was ask nicely!”, and strolled away in a very leisurely manner.
Definitely not scared.
Tax: Geronimo/Geranium - she is very ‘round’!

Good morning all

No thirsty Thursday photos yet, but here is a semi drowned rat…. Poor Clyde! All his fluffy feathers were straightened out from the rain.

Doesn’t he look like a different chook there?!

Not to worry a few hrs later and he was back to his fluffy self. And super soft feathers from the washing hen received with the rain water.

Rather than a thirsty butt, a semi-naked moulty butt

Cheetah's tattered flag broke off yesterday. Poor guy is miserable. Hiding on the ground away from the rest while valiantly trying to look out for the little ones. About every 3rd day he sleeps alone. He's not the only rumpled miserable adult. Several if the ladies are stand off-ish too...and just as rumpled. No 'nekkid" birds yet, but lots of pincushions hidden under a thin layer of feathers.

I know in Texas you let gunpowder do all the talking
Oh yes. And I have an oil well, a big ol white house with two wings, and a cattle ranch. I eat steak 24/7 and drive a pink Cadillac convertible with long horns for a hood ornament. 🤣

It's Unbelievable
This morning, I have been rewarded a 3 year trophy on BYC. It sounds crazy that I have been here for so long! Here's to 4, 5, 6 and many more years on here. That will be a journey that I'm looking forward to.
Tony, Parmesan and Mozzarella have stuck around for the last 3 years (yes, Tony did start molting).

Of course we can't forget Grandma. Didn't make it to 3 years, but she will always be included.

This may not seem like a big deal to all of you, but it's crazy to think that I've been using this forum for 3 years as well as my travel account. So here's to many more years on here.
Congratulations!
